Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are looking for a mature dedicated employee to assist in the enforcement of the City’s parking citation policies and procedures. The successful candidate will be Responsible for supporting the Boot Officer with the installation and release of boots from vehicles. Our Booting Technicians are expected to be calm, clear of thought and in control at all times. They should always know the appropriate responses, no matter the situation in accordance with established policies and procedures. This position plays a vital role in achieving our revenue growth objectives. Booting Technicians are responsible for assisting with the enforcement of parking policies for vehicles on the streets that are in violation of multiple parking citations.Report To: Operation Manager and Field SupervisorBooting Technician Skills we are looking for:Excellent communications skillsDependableProductiveCustomer Service FocusedMaintains ProfessionalismAttention to DetailCalm and Mature demeanorKnowledgeable of Basic SafetyBasic Job KnowledgeJob Responsibilities:Survey the location and make sure it is safe for the Boot Officer to Install the boot.Always make sure the Boot Officer and booting process is done in a safe manner.Notify the Dispatcher by (two-way radio) when installing or releasing boot on scaffold vehiclesComplete reports for booted vehicles and stolen bootsReport existing or potential work hazardsDocument ALL dispatch and field activitiesAssist an administrative team with special projects (CSB)Complete all required paperwork and reports in a timely and accurately mannerPresent daily reports as assigned, detailing service performanceMaintain clean and tidy work areaPerform other duties as assignedJOB REQUIRMENTS Education and ExperienceHigh School Diploma or its equivalencyValid Class E Driver's License and clean driving historySix (6) months of experience in a position requiring public contactTechnical Skills:Strong time management and organizational skillsBasic PC knowledge and familiarity with electronic equipment (Intermediate Microsoft Work, Excel and Outlook skills)Great communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to liaise at multiple levelsHigh level of accuracy, speed, and data entry skillsAttention to detailsAbility to relate well with others and work in a team environmentAbility to work under pressure
