Job Description

Mid-Atlantic Truck & Equipment is Hiring Diesel and Hydraulic Technicians Clinton, MD Hampton, VA Chesapeake, VA Benefits Built with Our Technicians in Mind Diesel Mechanic Benefits:

    • Up to $42/hour (based on location and experience)
    • Sign-On Bonus ($1500-$2500 depending on location and experience)
    • $250 quarterly tool allowance ($1,000/year!)

  • Diesel Mechanic:
  • 3 years experience with hydraulic pumps and diesel engine repair
  • Hands-on expertise with hydraulic systems, including pumps, cylinders, valves, and hoses
  • Skilled in MIG and stick welding
  • Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems and troubleshooting
  • Diesel engine repair experience is a plus
  • Must have your own tools and be confident using them
  • Valid driver's license required Class A or B CDL is a bonus
  • Field Service Equipment Technician - Compactors & Balers:
  • Strong understanding of industrial safety standards (lockout/tagout, fall protection, fire watch)
  • Experience with hydraulic systems, including pumps, cylinders, and valves
  • Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems, including high-voltage components
  • Mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills for motors and related equipment
  • Proficiency with torches, cutting tools, and stick welding for chute installation, repair, and light fabrication work
  • Experience installing and maintaining compactors, balers, and related equipment
