The ideal candidate will be based in Spokane WA.In this role youll wear many hats and be the mastermind behind:Growth:Grow the branch through collaborating with the sales and operations team to secure new customers and specialty work.Financial Acumen:Oversee financials budgets and profitability ensuring the companys financial health.Team Leadership:Build and empower a high-performing team fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.Customer Engagement:Establish and nurture a high-level of customer focused engagement and connections by delivering exceptional services and being the trusted advisor.We are searching for a dynamic people leader with experience driving a large book of business in the janitorial or commercial property management industries.Pay: $120000 - $145600The pay listed is the salary range for this position. They will lead a diverse team provide support direction and coaching to site managers engage in regular client interaction develop internal and external relationships deliver financial goals manage and forecast an accurate budget manage vendors interface with senior leadership and work to continuously develop operational team members.Youll be the ideal candidate if you have:Strong customer focused orientation have a passion for helping others be successful and desire to be an effective partner with local operations teams the national teams and clients to drive win-win have an eye for details and push for exceptional performance.Essential FunctionsStrong P&L experience in a multi discipline facility services environment.Possess deep knowledge of the operation at each site (contract scope of work building type client nuances local market conditions)Be responsible for the delivery and execution of all contracted services within the regionBuild long-term sustainable partnerships with the client at each locationConsistently travel to and visit each site within the region and participate in frequent regular onsite meetings with clientsEffectively address all client related communications in real time with a sense of urgency (emails phone calls requests)Properly escalate issues that could impact local or national perceptions of ABM as a preferred facility services providerReview financial performance regularly to forecast spend and course correct when necessaryEnsure cost control levers and metrics are in place to proactively monitor overall spend to monthly budgetWork directly with client and internal teams to ensure billing and collections are processed in a timely mannerNegotiate modifications to compensation or staffing plans based on site specific needs market conditions and client driven initiativesPrepare and develop financial and operational reports weekly and monthlyWork closely with site managers to develop their operational knowledge and management capabilities Develop site specific performance standards and ensure portfolio wide standards are being metProactively create consistent and effective operational processes and see them through to implementationEnsure all sites are properly documenting employee onboarding badging safety job training and performance management issuesDrive and promote a strong safety culture; reinforce ABM and client safety programsEnsure each site is conducting formal quality checks and inspections according to planContinuously monitor the overall performance of each site and make appropriate changes to improve performanceUp-sell additional services and jobs above and beyond contractual agreementsPartner with local and national 3rd party vendors and suppliers for onsite material supplies and equipment (ordering pricing repair testing out new products)Understand and comply with ABM policies and proceduresGrow the branch by direct selling to new and existing clients and partnering with sales team.Represent ABM through being active in related industry groups (i.e. BOMA IFMA) and related events.Job duties may be modified at any timeMinimum RequirementsBachelors degree preferred or equivalent military experienceMinimum of 7 - 10 years of management experience in related industriesMinimum of 7 -10 years in janitorial facility services or building management (multi-site locations preferred)Experience in commercial office buildings warehouses distribution centers manufacturing and facility engineering environments is a plusPrevious custodial experience desiredApprox 50% travel and able to travel by car to sites within branchExtended travel outside of branch (10%)Excellent organizational skills and attention to detailProficient in Microsoft OfficeMust have working knowledge of OSHA safety standards and regulationsMust maintain a valid State issued drivers licenseRequired Experience:Manager Key Skills Sales Experience,Financial Acumen,Financial Concepts,Management Experience,QlikView,Serving Experience,Retail Sales,Banking,Securities Law,Product Lifecycle Management,Mentoring,Supervising Experience Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1 Monthly Salary Salary: 120000 - 145600
