This is a unique opportunity to assume leadership of an established and growing practice following the departure of our highly respected breast surgeon, who has been in practice for over 15 years. You'll step into a well-supported environment with experienced, breast-trained staff and serve as part of the second busiest breast program in the St. Louis region.Practice OverviewClinical Volume & Setting:Approximately 6 surgical procedures per weekOver 120 breast tumor cases annually (2024 data)90-95% of patients receive integrated medical oncology and/or radiation oncology through SSM Health Practice Infrastructure:Dedicated outpatient clinic with 3 exam roomsPrivate office spaceExperienced, breast-trained support staffEstablished referral network and growing patient volume Position ResponsibilitiesClinical Care:Provide comprehensive breast surgical services at St. Mary's campusDeliver evidence-based, patient-centered breast cancer careParticipate in multidisciplinary treatment planning and coordination Academic & Educational Engagement:Formal academic faculty appointment is an option but not a requirement for the breast surgeon at SSM Health St. Mary's St. Louis; however, close collaboration across the academic platform is expected to support the educational and clinical mission of the institution.
