Our people bring deep industry knowledge to help you succeed. The responsibilities of this position include but may not be limited to the following:Structural Inspection Team Leader for bridges and ancillary structures.Performing condition inspections of highway or other structures in a variety of environments including confined spaces and at height (proper training and personal protection equipment will be provided)Performing assignments related to the design analysis rehabilitation and inspection of highway bridges and ancillary structures.Preparing engineering related calculations and developing drawings and visual aidsWorking under the supervision of a project manager or senior-level team memberQualifications : Minimum RequirementsBA/BS plus 2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or educationPE licenseNHI Certification for Bridge and/or Ancillary Structure Inspections (NHI Courses 78 and 130087)Meets qualifications to be a Nationally Certified Bridge InspectorFundamental understanding of structural engineering principles including steel and concrete designCertified as a Bridge Inspection Team Leader in Maryland or the ability to obtain in Maryland within 6 months of hiringValid US Drivers License required to regularly drive AECOM vehicles to project sites.
