The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Position Type Full-Time/Regular As a Broadcast Recording Technician II you will be responsible for on-air engineering and production of WBUR broadcast quality audio, consisting primarily of live on-air console operation (known as Operator on Duty for the station's live broadcast) and digital editing/mixing and recording. This position also helps to provide coverage for vacation and sick-time of other Broadcast Recording Technicians and Technical Directors, and additional support as required. You will need to work early and late hours, and weekends and holidays as required in a flexible shift arrangement. This position also assists the Production Manager in the scheduling and management or WBUR studio usage. Required Skills Vocational or Technical Training required. Bachelor's degree or relevant experience required. 1-3 years experience in related field. This position requires advanced proficiency and experience with ProTools audio editing software. This position requires prior audio experience with professional level mixing boards in a recording or radio environment. Must be able to troubleshoot signal flow and operate various types of audio rack gear including audio processing and codec equipment. Must be familiar with Office 365 email/calendaring suite.
