Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSalary: $20.00Job Title: Behavior Technician (BT)Job Summary:We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavior Technician to provide direct, one-on-one support to individuals with autism and other developmental or behavioral needs. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), the BT will implement behavior intervention plans to help clients develop communication, social, and daily living skills.Key Responsibilities:Provide direct Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy in home, school, clinic, or community settings.Implement individualized treatment plans designed by a BCBA.Collect accurate data on client progress during each session.Use positive reinforcement and other ABA strategies to encourage skill development and behavior improvement.Support clients in learning communication, self-help, and social interaction skills.Maintain a safe, positive, and supportive environment.Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other team members.Attend required training, supervision, and team meetings.Follow ethical guidelines and maintain client confidentiality.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent (Associates or Bachelors degree in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred).Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred or willingness to obtain.Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities preferred.Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills.Ability to follow treatment plans accurately and work independently or as part of a team.Work Environment:Sessions may take place in home, school, clinic, or community settings.May require physical activity, including bending, lifting, or engaging in play with clients.
