Budget And Grants Support Analyst
The Administrative Services Division of the Orange County Department of Education (OCDE) is looking for an experienced professional to serve as Budget and Grants Support Analyst. The Budget and Grants Support Analyst provides specialized budget, grant, and fiscal analysis to support OCDE programs. This position develops and monitors budgets, analyzes financial data, ensures compliance with federal, state, and grant funding requirements, and provides technical guidance to departments throughout the budget and grant lifecycle. The Analyst collaborates with internal and external stakeholders, prepares financial reports and projections, supports audits, interprets fiscal regulations and legislation, and recommends process improvements to promote sound financial stewardship and effective program operations.
Requirements / Qualifications
Education and Experience: Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Four (4) years of progressive experience in budgeting, grant administration, fiscal analysis, accounting, financial reporting, or fiscal compliance; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
