Class SummaryThis is a part-time position with a maximum of 1508 hours per year and is not eligible for paid holidays leave or benefits.Job DescriptionThe Building Brains Anywhere Recreation Leader will be responsible for performing a wide variety of administrative support duties which may include record keeping data entry filing and providing critical support to ensure smooth operations of the facility and K-12 field trips afterschool and summer camps programs. The incumbent must display flexibility and exemplary oral and written communication skills as this position will also be representing the organization while answering phones providing facility tours explaining procedures and helping set clear expectations to a variety of internal and external customers.Essential DutiesPerforming a variety of clerical functions which mayincludetyping answering phones from the public and legal community filing copying faxing opening and distributing mail and/or performing other related activitiesHandling incoming communications from internal and external stakeholders with positivity and professionalismResponding to inquiries regarding facility programs events and volunteer opportunitiesMaintaining and updating multiple calendars for scheduling facility educational programming eventsAssisting with registration of K-12 programs summer camps and daycaresRecognizing and advocating for community outreach and partnership opportunitiesSupporting the planning and execution of community-based educational programming and eventsPerforming additional duties of a similar nature or level as assignedPublic Speaking DutiesProviding detailed and engaging facility tours to customers highlighting facilitys features and amenitiesHourly rate$16.80/hourMinimum QualificationsValid drivers licenseHigh School diploma/GEDAn equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above will also be considered.Preferred Qualifications in addition to the above minimum qualificationsAssociates degree in hospitality facility/building maintenance or property management ANDTwo years of experience in rental/hospitality and/or facility/building maintenanceCPR/First Aid certification (must obtain within 90 days of hiring)For more information about this department please click here.Additional InformationAbout Gwinnett CountyWelcome to Gwinnett County GovernmentGwinnett County Government is an award-winning employer that believes in investing in its employees by providing corporate level benefits a wellness program professional development opportunities career advancement and moreCareers with impactGwinnett County sets the standard as a dynamic vibrant community where all people can enjoy economic opportunities safe neighborhoods plentiful greenspace and recreational facilities.
