BUILDING CLEANING WORKER II at Vets Hired

Job Summary Serves as a team or crew lead and/or shift point person independently performing a full range of cleaning custodial and janitorial duties to support the care cleaning and maintenance of assigned facilities. This role may include work across multiple units areas or locations. Your Experience Counts Approved formal education may be substituted for required work experience and approved work experience may be substituted for required education on a year-for-year basis. Responsibilities Lead and mentor individuals or crews; inspect work to ensure quality and compliance with health and safety standards Interact with facility staff residents patients or contractors; investigate and resolve cleanliness or equipment issues Respond to immediate safety or maintenance concerns and escalate when necessary Complete daily logs reports and documentation Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment; order items or notify supervisor of needs Perform outdoor tasks such as removing snow debris and garbage; mowing and trimming grounds; moving furniture or equipment Carry out light to heavy custodial tasks including dusting vacuuming floor care shampooing rugs washing surfaces and disinfecting areas Use appropriate chemicals and disinfectants; dispose of contaminated and non-contaminated waste properly Perform routine facility maintenance such as changing lightbulbs adjusting fixtures or resetting equipment Key Skills Construction Experience,Facilities Management,HVAC,Automotive Diagnostics,Construction Management,Maintenance,Quality Management,Geometry,Property Management,Supervising Experience,Commercial Cleaning,Google Suite Employment Type : Full Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
