All of our system institutions place strong emphasis on service — helping to build healthier, more educated communities in South Carolina and beyond.Advertised Job SummaryThe Research Coordinatorwill conduct literature reviews, manage and analyze quantitative data, and contribute to manuscripts and reports. The role will also provide biostatistics and statistical consulting, assist in coordinating summer workshops and training programs, and support research-related consultations for INBRE and other training programs. The analyst will work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students to ensure high-quality research outcomes.Required Education and ExperiencePreferred QualificationsApplicants must have a Master’s degree in a health-related field (e.g.,        statistics, biostatistics, and/or data science ) by the time of         appointment.Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesOther qualifications include expertise in big data analysis (including artificial intelligence and machine learning), quantitative methodology, strong analytic skills, ability to take initiative and work independently, high standard of work ethic.Effective oral and written communication skills, and proficiency in at least one analysis software including SAS, R, or Python.Job Close Date12/16/2025Special Instructions to ApplicantPositions are advertised for a minimum of five (5) business days on our job website.
