Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain System Solutions, this role focuses on maintaining system reliability and scalability while partnering with business teams to translate requirements into effective solutions. The position combines hands-on technical skills with a strong understanding of planning processes to implement enhancements, troubleshoot complex issues, and deliver improvements that support end users and drive operational performance.Key ResponsibilitiesSystem Configuration & IntegrationOversee technical setup, integration, and maintenance of planning systems (e.g., Kinaxis).Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of complex system issues.Collaborate with IT and vendors to implement system enhancements and upgrades.Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with corporate standards.Technology ImplementationManage technical aspects of system implementation projects, including requirements gathering, testing, and deployment.Develop and maintain technical documentation, configuration templates, and support materials.Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions to improve system capabilities.Stakeholder SupportServe as the technical point of contact for cross-functional teams and external partners.Provide technical training and support to end users and team members.Communicate technical risks, issues, and opportunities to the Director and project stakeholders.Governance & ComplianceMonitor adherence to process standards, policies, and compliance requirements (including SOX).Conduct process assessments and recommend future-state improvements.Education & Minimum RequirementTypically requires 7+ years of relevant experience.Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Information Technology, Data Analytics or related field, or equivalent experience.Critical Skills7+ years in technical, supply chain, or IT systems roles.Hands-on experience with planning systems (Kinaxis preferred), ERP, and data integration.Proficiency in SQL, data analytics, and system troubleshooting.Additional SkillsStrong communication skills and ability to educate business users on technical risks, issues, and opportunities.Experience with technical documentation, configuration templates, and support materials.Strong vendor and stakeholder management skills.Kinaxis Author and/or Administrator Certifications strongly preferred.Project leadership and execution in complex technical environmentsAdvanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for planning systemsEnsuring data integrity, security, and compliance with corporate standardsDriving innovation and process improvement within supply chain systemsChampioning cross-functional collaboration and enterprise-first mindsetLeading change and fostering adoption of new technologies and processesWorking ConditionsAble to travel domestically 10% of the time.Hybrid work environment - Ideal location is the Irving, TX area.Must be authorized to work in the US unrestricted - This position is not eligible for sponsorship.We are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards.
