The person must reside in the Chicagoland area.Supervisory Responsibilities:Supervision and assistance with assigning team members throughout the entirety of a project and/or its development as needed.Assigns tasks and responsibilities to team members based on project development or bidding process.Job Duties Develop and cultivate new business and sales opportunities tailored to clients needs for solutions on their properties in defined markets for Commercial Landscape Services Residential and Commercial Tree Care and all other applicable Davey service lines. *Work closely with Operations to retain business and future client opportunities through exceptional customer service and communication for the client and Davey teams. *Collaborate with Commercial Landscape Services Residential and Commercial Tree Care Davey Resource Group Utility and other Davey service lines to coordinate operational support and sales assistance required for new business and sales opportunities. *Adhere to the operational approval flowchart for development opportunities and enlist the appropriate support as necessary. *Coordinate with the represented service line to proactively address and resolve customer complaints related to sales and service ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. *Continuously monitor customer preferences and industry trends to determine the focus of sales efforts and adapt accordingly based on the teams strategies and insights gained. *Maintain accurate reporting record keeping and data management within the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) data system to track and analyze sales and customer interactions as well as internal team reporting QlikSense and other platforms for data verification and accurate history. *Communicate with the appropriate managers and sales teams about sales generated and sold and provide timely follow-up communication. *Participate in weekly sales calls to align strategies and maintain a cohesive team effort. *Report timely and accurately to supervisor and teammates. *Perform other related duties as assigned.Follow all company policies procedures and work rules.Attending National Tradeshows focused on the growth of specific verticals.Competencies Uses strategy and insight to reach deals or compromises driving a strong sales outcome.Builds and maintains customer satisfaction with the products and services offered by the organization; provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers.Actively participates in internal and external professional development and training and successfully applies newly acquired skills.Applies excellent organizational and time management skills.Contributes to a productive team environment by actively participating in meetings attentively listening seeking clarification and accurately interpreting and carrying out detailed written and oral instructions.Communicates and presents information clearly accurately and professionally in positive and negative situations and in answering questions with employees clients and members of the public responding appropriately and timely to requests for service and assistance.Follows safety and security regulations applying appropriate actions based on guidelines and training.Adheres to applicable laws and regulations while upholding organizational ethics and policies.Qualifications Required: Ability to complete required training.Required: Valid Drivers License.Required: High school diploma or equivalent.Required: Ability to acquire applicator licenses as necessary per state requirements.Required: ISA Certified Arborist or Landscape Professional Certification or the ability to obtain credentials within a specified timeframe.Required: Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel and other computer or software programs necessary to complete job duties.Preferred: Associate or bachelors degree in landscape arboriculture horticulture or related field.Preferred: Sales or operational experience in the field of landscape arboriculture horticulture or related field.Additional Information What We Offer: *Paid time off and paid holidaysOpportunities for advancementAll job specific equipment and safety gear provided401(k) retirement savings plan with a company matchEmployee-owned company & discounted stock purchase optionsGroup Health PlanEmployee referral bonus programLocations throughout US in major cities and desirable areasCareer Development Program supported by Industry Expert Safety Specialists & Skills TrainersScholarship Program for Children of EmployeesCharitable matching gift program*all listed benefits available to eligible employees Pay starting at $120000 yearlyDivisional Overview The Davey Tree Expert Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
