Job Description
Description We're looking for new Business Development Coordinator - Third Party Originations to support our team and help drive success in the wholesale mortgage channel. In this role, you'll partner with our Wholesale Account Managers to support business development, partner onboarding, training, and administrative operations.Here's what you can expect from the job and what you need to be successful:Job Duties:Work with Account Managers on loan scenarios and structuring guidance, gathering needed information to position loans for smooth submissionSupport upfront and ongoing training and education initiatives for new and existing partners, coordinating webinars, live trainings, and updates on product and process changesAssist in the onboarding and training of new broker partners, including scheduling, preparing materials, and conducting system walk-throughsFacilitate new partner approvals and recertifications by managing paperwork, system entries, and follow-up to ensure timely completionManage and monitor the Wholesale sales support email inbox, responding to partner inquiries and routing questions to the appropriate team membersAssist partners with password resets, portal access, and basic technical support to ensure uninterrupted platform usageConduct testing of system enhancements, process changes, and technology updates on behalf of the Wholesale channel to ensure readiness before rolloutMaintain accurate records in the CRM and internal systems to support pipeline tracking, reporting, and partner relationship managementProvide market intelligence and competitive feedback gathered during partner interactions to Sales and Executive leadership, as neededFoster a partner-centric experience by delivering prompt, accurate, and courteous support at all stages of the partner relationshipUphold compliance and confidentiality standards in handling partner information and administrative tasksCollaborate cross-functionally with select business units to deliver a smooth third-party experienceEssential Skills:Minimum 2+ years' experience in mortgage lendingDemonstrated track record in forging successful customer relationshipsAble to articulate complex concepts while tailoring the message to different audiences including clients, member support teams, and senior leadershipAbility to prioritize files in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and high-volume peaks while producing high-quality work.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteCertification/License: NMLS registrationMinimum Education: High School Diploma; Bachelor's degree preferredLocation: Full Time Remote, but employee MUST reside in one of the following states:Alaska | Arizona | California | Colorado | Florida |Georgia | Idaho | Massachusetts | Minnesota |North Carolina |Nevada | Oregon | Pennsylvania | Texas | Utah | WashingtonTarget Compensation: $70,000-$90,000 total comp potential, including a base hourly rate of $28.13-$33.75 + monthly incentive pay.Benefits options include:Traditional medical, dental, and vision coverage401K matching up to 5% per pay periodAccrue up to 17 days of Paid Time Off your first year of employment11 paid federal holidaysSpecial employee pricing on lending products such as mortgage, auto, and personal loans (eligibility for special employee pricing is subject to standard account requirements and underwriting criteria)What makes First Tech different?
