DescriptionPOSITION OVERVIEWThe Director of Business Development for the Infrastructure Solutions business unit will be responsible for driving the growth and expansion of our business on a regional scale with a specific focus large projects / AI Factories. This role involves identifying new business opportunities building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and developing strategies to increase market share and revenue. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development excellent communication skills and a proven track record of success in a similar environment.RESPONSIBILITIESIdentify and evaluate new business opportunities in global markets with a particular emphasis on Neocloud COLO and Hyperscale customers (AI Ecosystem)Strategic customer engagement:Collaborate directly with strategic customers influencing their design decisions and securing Vertivs products as the basis of design.Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including clients partners and industry influencers.Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape in the AI Ecosystem.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including account managers solution architects and product development marketing et to ensure alignment and successful execution of business development initiatives.Prepare and present business proposals reports and presentations to senior management.Monitor and report on the performance of business development activities and adjust strategies as needed.Thought leadership:Represent Vertiv at industry events conferences and trade publications to showcase technical expertise and disseminate reference designs.QUALIFICATIONSBachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or a related field. A Masters degree is preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development with a focus on global markets.Proven track record of success in identifying and securing new business opportunities.Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Willingness to travel internationally as needed.PREFERRED SKILLSExperience in the technology or infrastructure solutions industry.Knowledge of multiple languages and cultural awareness.Proficiency in CRM software and other business development tools.TRAVELBetween 50 - 70% domestic travelOUR CORE PRINCIPALS: Safety. .
