Business Development Manager I, II, or IIITerritory Location(s): Lehigh Valley, PAOpportunity to earn up to $135,000 - $230,000 a year (or more), with uncapped commissions!We offer a $60,000 - $100,00 base salary with a commission plan that allows you the freedom to exceed quota!  (*See total compensation details below the job description). At Astound, we believe in creating astounding possibilities for everyone, everywhere.  Astound is looking to hire a Business Development Manager (BDM)I, II, or III in the greater Lehigh Valley, PA market, supporting Nationwide. The BDM I, II, or III is primarily responsible for Negotiating Right of Entry Agreements and Bulk agreements with condominium associations, property managers, property owners and developers, allowing Astound the opportunity to deliver its residential high-speed internet, cable television and phone services to area MDUs (multiple dwelling units), in Lehigh Valley, PA and other neighboring towns. Account Management of existing bulk portfolio and negotiation of renewal agreements with current bulk customers. A Day in the Life of the Business Development Manager:Negotiate new Right of Entry Agreements and new Bulk agreements with condominium associations, property managers, property owners and developers  Source leads for new build opportunitiesBuild relationships with real estate developers and property management firmsManage projects throughout the negotiation cycle as well as support the efforts of the building relations and customer support teams throughout the retention cycleImplement successful strategies to drive expansion of “on-net” commercial buildings in existing and new marketsTarget, identify and develop strategic revenue-producing partnerships and alliancesEvaluate and support business development opportunities identified by our Enterprise sales channelDevelop market analysis and business case to support expansion opportunitiesBuild relationships with strategic partners and organizationsWork effectively with sales engineering/network deployment team to ensure timely review, assessment and deployment of all leadsBe aware of ALL new leads, market developments and potential target buildings, current or future. This will include (but not limited to) the following activities:Business District walkthroughsInitiating and attending networking eventsGeneral up to date knowledge of MTU market within territoryAttend various business and association functions within territory, including some evening eventsConvey building lead information efficiently to support personnel and ensure all order information is entered accurately and within 24 hoursComplete all Access Agreement paperwork, providing the owner/operator with a scheduled installation which has been stipulated by engineering andComplete all paperwork and agreements accurately, legibly and thoroughlyMaintain and demonstrate a current knowledge of Enterprise products, programming, promotional offers, technology and deployment specificationsProvide exceptional customer service at all timesManage CRM systems, process, and quality of dataProduce CRM output reports as requested by managementMaintain updated sales funnel records, logging notes, contact information & activitiesProject a professional business manner and operate with a high degree of integrityOther duties as assignedWhat You Bring to the Table:Three to five years in an outside sales or customer service environment managing business accounts Account Management experience is requiredSales experience in real-estate or telecommunications or related industries preferredExperience working with realtors and property management firms is also preferredExceptional business acumenStrong written and verbal communication skills required, as this position is responsible for ensuring potential customers understand the features and benefits of all Astound fiber products and the pricing and promotional offers availableAbility to work within Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel, and OutlookAbility to work with and manage CRM systemsMust be able to work independently with minimal supervisionExcellent detail orientation and follow through skillsStrong discretionary skills; this position will have access to information of a confidential natureDemonstrated expertise in leading successful sales and/or market development organizations in technology businessesProven ability to coordinate across broad teams including marketing, operations, sales, and financeProven ability to conduct complex contract negotiationsProven results in developing a channel and exceeding sales organizational objectivesUnderstanding of fiber optic data and telecommunications solutions in CLEC businessPossess a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record per the Company’s Vehicle Driving PolicyEducation and Certifications:High school diploma or equivalent is requiredCollege degree in business, project management, or related field is preferred We're Proud to Offer a Comprehensive Benefits Package Including:401k retirement plan, with employer matchInsurance options including: medical, dental, vision, life and STD insurancePaid Time Off/Vacation: Starting at 80 hours per year, and increases based on tenure with the organizationFloating Holiday: 40 hours per yearPaid Holidays: 7 days per yearPaid Sick Leave: Astound allows a number of paid sick hours per calendar year and varies based on state and/or local lawsTuition reimbursement programEmployee discount program*Benefits listed above are for regular full-time position *Base Salary: The base salary range in the state of PA for this position is $60,000 - $100,000 depending on experience, plus opportunities for bonus, benefits and commission. The base pay range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills, experience, and capabilities.
