Position (Full-Time): Sales Consultant Quality Management Solutions (Manufacturing)Location: Chicago IL. Willingness to travel within the US (approx. 50%)About the company:Our client is a European technology company specializing in digital quality management solutions for the manufacturing industry. For over 30 years its modular software suite has helped global manufacturers in sectors such as aerospace automotive medical devices and food production improve product quality compliance and operational efficiency.Since its launch in 2024 in the US the company has built a growing customer base of more than 50 companies across North America and a small but strong local team. With two Software Trainers already on board and a Vice President guiding US operations the company is now ready to expand its commercial activities through the addition of a dedicated Sales Consultant.About the opportunity:This role offers the chance to be part of a small growing US team that helps manufacturers improve their quality processes with proven software solutions. As Sales Consultant youll represent the company to prospective customers - someone who listens understands production and quality challenges and enjoys showing how the right software can make their work easier and more efficient.Youll collaborate closely with the companys technical trainers to guide customers from first contact and demonstration through to successful onboarding. The position focuses on building trust providing practical solutions and developing long-term customer relationships that strengthen the companys presence in the US manufacturing market.Its a great opportunity for someone with a background in manufacturing quality or process improvement who enjoys working with people learning and teaching new tools and being part of a supportive international team.Your key responsibilities will include:Identify and develop new business opportunities in target manufacturing sectors.Lead the entire sales cycle: prospecting product demonstrations (remote and on-site) proposal creation and contract negotiation.Conduct consultative discussions with quality operations and IT stakeholders to understand process challenges and tailor solutions accordingly.Collaborate closely with the companys Software Trainers and European HQ to ensure seamless onboarding and excellent customer experience.Represent the company at trade fairs customer or sales events and industry conferences.Maintain accurate opportunity tracking and forecasts within Excel and CRM tools.Serve as a trusted partner to customers - focusing on long-term satisfaction rather than short-term transactions.Youll thrive in this role if you have:Experience in B2B sales account management or other customer-facing roles ideally within a manufacturing quality or technical environment.Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in business engineering manufacturing or a related field.Curiosity for digital tools and modern software solutions with the confidence to learn and explain their value to customers (no programming background required).A consultative service-oriented mindset youre interested in understanding processes and helping customers find practical solutions.An existing network within the manufacturing industry is a strong plus.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable engaging with engineers managers and decision-makers alike.A hands-on pragmatic attitude and genuine enjoyment of working independently in a small growing international team.Willingness to travel domestically approx. 50%; a valid drivers license is required.What The Company Offers:20 PTO days per year increasing to 25 days after 3 years9 paid company holidaysUp to $1000/month employer contribution toward your health insurance (Defined Contribution Health Plan)401(k) with 6% employer contributionA high-quality product ecosystem with a team that values initiative feedback and input from all employeesThe opportunity to be part of a respected European software company making its mark in the USRequired Experience:Contract Key Skills Project Management Methodology,Project / Program Management,Change Management,Order Management System,Business Analysis,Visio,Data Management,Project Management,Metadata,Management Consulting,Data Analysis Skills,Taxonomy Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1 Yearly Salary Salary: 80 - 90
