Job Summary

As an Account Development Representative, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth by managing and expanding customer relationships within an assigned region. In this role, you will proactively contact businesses to introduce and promote our solutions using established outreach lists. You will work closely with a Sales Account Manager to support account management efforts, strengthen customer relationships, and identify growth opportunities. Success in this position is driven by strong communication skills, consistent follow-up, and a consultative approach focused on delivering value to customers.

Key Responsibilities

Proactively contact assigned businesses to introduce and promote company solutionsManage and grow customer relationships within an assigned regionPartner closely with a Sales Account Manager to coordinate outreach, account activity, and growth strategiesIdentify customer needs and recommend value-added solutions through active listening and problem-solvingBalance relationship management ("farming") with proactive outreach ("hunting") activitiesUtilize data, reporting tools, and CRM systems to track activity, manage pipelines, and support sales strategyMaintain accurate and timely documentation of customer interactions and account activityPerform additional responsibilities as needed to support team and company goals

Minimum Qualifications

Two or more years of experience in an account management, sales, or customer-facing role with outbound responsibilitiesGoal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlinesDemonstrated persistence, confidence, and professionalism in a sales environmentStrong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build rapport across all levels of an organizationExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to travel up to 10% of the time

Preferred Qualifications

Experience balancing both account management and new business development responsibilitiesStrong analytical and PC skillsExperience using CRM software, Salesforce preferredData-driven approach to managing sales activity and customer relationships
