Job Description

Squarespace is looking for a Business Development professional who is passionate about the power of Squarespaces platform and products to help customers build their brand and their business. Our Business Development team serves to commercialize new partnerships and incubate new growth opportunities for the company. You will help identify new areas of potential growth and develop the most promising. The team collaborates with Legal Finance Product Design Engineering Marketing and more.You will report directly to the Manager Business Development and can be based in our New York headquarters or remotely in an approved US state.Youll Get ToWork closely with the Product Partnerships portfolio Product Solutions Architects and other cross-functional teams to ensure strategic alignment and execution of product partnershipsMaintain direct and active relationships with app ecosystem partners including proactively resolving business and technical issues and serving as an internal advocateSupport identification of strategic product partnerships and help bring these opportunities to life in our product for customersCommunicate market opportunities needs and partner feedback to teams to inform product roadmap and prioritizationCollaborate with product engineering legal finance and additional teams to launch new product partnershipsTrack and communicate partner metrics industry trends and the impact of these partnerships on business goalsDevelop business proposals structure projections and KPIs and negotiate term sheets / contractsManage partnership pipeline and activities develop rationale for identified opportunities and validate of deal rationale and viabilityRepresent Squarespace in external meetings with counterparts from other companiesWho Were Looking For 3 years of professional experience relating to partnerships business development strategy or product managementStrong product sense and comfort with considering basic technical feasibility of partner integrationsA passion and curiosity for new creative tool products and their potential for transforming industriesExcellent project management skills with the ability to lead and handle multiple time-sensitive initiatives without sacrificing attention to detailBenefits & PerksA choice between medical plans with an option for 100% covered premiumsFertility and adoption benefitsAccess to supplemental insurance plans for additional coverageHeadspace mindfulness app subscriptionGlobal Employee Assistance ProgramRetirement benefits with employer matchFlexible paid time off12 weeks paid parental leave and family care leavePretax commuter benefitEducation reimbursementEmployee donation match to community organizations8 Global Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)Dog-friendly workplaceFree lunch and snacksPrivate rooftopHack week twice per yearCash Compensation Range: $120500 - $138000 USDThe base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant skills experience and location among other factors.In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and where applicable for eligible roles may include overtime pay) Squarespace employees are eligible to be granted an option to purchase our common stock.
