Task Breakdown
This role will influence the direction of the business by translating broad business problems into specific analytics projects, conducting deep quantitative analyses, and communicating results effectively.
This individual will help drive robust scalable management reporting mechanisms to assist Business and Finance leadership with insights generation and decision-making.
As a key analytics partner, this candidate will have significant exposure to the Advertising Finance Leadership Team, and require partnership with a broad set of teams including finance, product, sales, operations, and technology.

The successful candidate will have a top analytical mind capable of understanding our complex ecosystem of advertisers, and be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, and with an ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy and ever-changing environment. The drive and capability to shape the direction is a must.
- Evaluation of the performance of program features and marketing content along measures of customer response, use, conversion, and retention
- Statistical testing of A/B and multivariate experiments
- Design, build and maintain metrics and reports on program health
- Respond to ad hoc requests from business leaders to investigate critical aspects of customer behavior, e.g. how many customers use a given feature or fit a given profile, deep dive into unusual patterns, and exploratory data analysis
- Employ data mining, model building, segmentation, and other analytical techniques to capture important trends in the customer base
- Participate in strategic and tactical planning discussions
