Position OverviewThe Business Liaison serves as a bridge between TNC Community Howdy Homemade Ice Cream local schools and area employers. This role focuses on expanding inclusive employment opportunities through partnership building advocacy and community engagement. The Business Liaison champions the Employment First philosophyensuring competitive integrated employment is the expected and preferred outcome for all individuals.Key ResponsibilitiesEmployment First AdvocacyPromote competitive integrated employment for individuals with disabilities.Encourage inclusive practices within businesses and community partners.School-to-Work TransitionPartner with schools to create early vocational and community-based work experiences.Ensure students graduate with meaningful work exposure and clear employment goals.Support families and educators in navigating pathways to employment.Employer Engagement & Inclusive HiringBuild relationships with local employers to increase inclusive job opportunities.Provide disability awareness training job coaching and ongoing employer support.Serve as a resource to organizations seeking to strengthen their inclusive hiring efforts.Community PartnershipsDevelop strategic partnerships on behalf of TNC Community and Howdy Homemade Ice Cream.Represent both organizations at events networking meetings and employer roundtables.Collaborate with civic leaders workforce agencies and advocacy groups.QualificationsBachelors degree required.Commitment to disability inclusion and employment equity.Experience in employer engagement workforce development or community relations.Strong communication and relationship-building skills.Ability to work collaboratively with schools families businesses and nonprofit partners.Knowledge of vocational training transition services or job coaching preferred.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programHealth insuranceMileage reimbursementPaid time offPaid trainingEducation:Bachelors (Required) Key Skills Presentation Skills,Time Management,Clinical Research,Communication skills,GCP,Infusion Experience,Managed Care,Hospice Care,Conflict Management,Clinical Trials,Research Experience,Home Care Employment Type : Full Time Department / Functional Area: Operations Experience: years Vacancy: 1
