Job DescriptionThe Role:The Business Planner will be responsible for the management of strategic and tactical business-related activities among senior executive staff. Additionally you will have the responsibility of assisting in the execution of work-related commitments presentation development briefing materials customer and executive engagement. Given the volume of written materials required as if coming directly from the senior leader the individual must possess exceptional written communication skills.What Youll Do:Support Functional Leader in the organization and running of the business (staff meetings special assignments etc.)Execute the portfolio/business planning processManage and plan assignments along with priority goals and requirements in the preparation of difficult projectsDevelop and maintain the project business cases (deliverables benefits timing)Analyze execution of Functional initiatives versus the Functional Business planInterpret complex quantitative and qualitative data and recommend solutions to unusual problemsManages budgetsExecute the Functional competitive assessment processCollect and analyze key operating metrics for the groupHandle a variety of special assignmentsDevelop and conduct presentations for all levels of managementRequired Skill & AbilitiesBachelors degree5 years of project management strategy or related business experienceExpertise with Microsoft ToolsDemonstrated experience with communication to Senior Executive Stakeholders Hands on technical or industry experience within a technology software development or related field A positive attitude integrity and confidentialityStrong management skills and a reputation for being a team playerKeen sense of protocolAbility to work comfortably and effectively with senior leaders and/or officers and administrative staffStrong communications skills both written and oralStrong creativity and problem-solving skillsExperience with developing senior level communication packagesObsessive attention to detailAbility to work proactively in an action-oriented and decision-making environment with limited direction and high-degrees of autonomyReputation for being energetic bright hardworking enthusiastic; willing to offer ideas opinions and judgmentsAcute political sensitivityStrong quantitative and analytical skillsProven to be a self-starter and results orientedA thorough understanding of corporate matrixed management structure with a successful track record of navigating within cross-functional teams to achieve desired resultsThorough analytical skills with the ability to interpret data to provide insightful conclusions and/or recommendationsExperience in managing professionals staff members and consultants effectively and appropriately advising/influencing senior-level corporate executivesWhat Will Give You A Competitive Advantage:Masters degreePrevious experience as Business Planner or Chief of StaffExperience working in high-tech software or automotive industriesCompensation:The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws.The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position as well as geography of the selected candidate.The salary range for this role is $98900-$158000.
