As a Specialist Business Process you will be responsible for improving the overall cost and reliability of Covias processing equipment by partnering with plants and utilizing data from multiple sources to improve operating outcomes that meet Covias production and safety guidelines.The successful candidate will have the following Key Accountabilities:Working with sites to support Covias Operations Management System with objectives that include:Improve end-user experience with business applicationsProviding the tools and approaches needed by teams to deliverIdentify systems to support equipment availability and loss preventionResponsible for multiple sites.Serve as a liaison between business users and IT to support and enhance ERP (IFS Cloud) configurations and modifications.Write and execute SQL queries to extract analyze and validate data from enterprise systems.Collaborate with the Power BI team to refine and maintain operations KPIs and dashboards.Support the implementation and rollout of new software tools across multiple sites.Troubleshoot user-submitted IT tickets related to business applications and data issues.Partner with Maintenance & Reliability teams to support data-driven reliability initiatives.Work closely with business analysts and functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities.Ensure data governance and consistency across systems and departments.Ensure EHS compliance and adherence to internal standards for safe and sustainable operations.Travel Requirements 50%.Collaborate with cross-functional and interdependent departments as required.Perform other duties as assignedThe successful candidate will have the following Minimum Qualifications:Bachelors degree or higherin Business Management Engineering or Science from an accreditedcollege or university requiredMinimum of 3 years of experience in an Operations roleAbility to train plant employees in problem solving techniques to deliver resultsSelf-motivated to resolve challenges and circumvent obstaclesAbility to openly discuss opportunities to improve the performance of the businessStrong communication skills are essential both written and verbalStrong analytical and technical skills ability to solve complex problems ability to innovate and a strategic business perspective and financial acumenCommitment to Our Culture:Our core values - Safety Team Customers Growth and Courageguide our work every day and will help us achieve our vision: Covia is the leading minerals solutions provider and through the passion and commitment of our people we enable customer successensuring a sustainable future for our company.All Covia Team Members are expected to:Live the Life-Saving RulesBuild high-performing work teamsFocus on customersDemonstrate a growth mindsetDo the right thing alwaysAt Covia we strive for and support a diverse workforce as we firmly believe this lays the foundation of our success.
