SalarySee Non-Credit Adjunct Faculty scale for comprehensive salary information.DescriptionDepartment: Workforce, Business, and Community Education (WBCE) – Business SolutionsPay Grade: Placed on Non-Credit Adjunct Faculty scaleFLSA Status: ExemptBusiness Solutions, a service of Carroll Community College, has served area employers with corporate training and organizational development needs for over 25 years! We are currently seeking adjunct faculty to support growing service needs. Adjuncts must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, possess strong business acumen, and have extensive experience in the field for which they teach. Strong presentation and communication skills are a must. Training in a virtual, online environment a plus. Trainers are sought in the following areas:Leadership/Management DevelopmentEssential Skills, including communications, business writing/grammar, conflict managementHuman Resources (interviewing/hiring, legal issues, etc.)Technology/Computer Training (MS Office suite of products, including 365 collaboration tools, data analytics)Diversity, Equity and InclusionCarroll Community College has the right to revise this position description at any time, and this position description does not represent in any way a contract of employment.Job RequirementsPHYSICAL DEMANDS:This work is normally sedentary work which requires exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Additionally, the following physical abilities are required:Hear/talk/communicate – Must be able to exchange information and communicateVisual Acuity/ability to perceive or detect surroundingsMental acuity – Able to focus, concentrate, understand, and convey subject matterRepetitive motion (i.e., keyboarding)Stand/sit/walk/able to move or traverse from one area to anotherWORK ENVIRONMENT: College campus, direct contact with students, staff, faculty and the general public in classrooms, common areas, offices, and campus environments. Work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts which require normal safety precautions typical of such places as office, meeting, and training rooms.
