The Business Strategy & Analytics Trainee will support and develop the Business Analytics capabilities of the Atlanta Braves. The candidate can expect to gain a wealth of experience with analytic processes data wrangling and business operations over the course of the program. The Business Strategy & Analytics department sits at the intersection of business strategy data and technology. We are responsible for predictive analytics revenue stream maximization business intelligence and quantitative functions related to business strategy.KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITYParticipate in review and analysis of business unit requirements.Organize and populate the daily weekly and monthly analytics reporting on actuals vs projectionsDesign develop and test frontend web applications built atop of R/Python.Synthesize data to evaluate business performanceDevelop business logic to support different business units.Analyzing and resolving technical problemsProviding updates to business unit key stakeholders regarding trendsAll other duties as assignedTRAINEE PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS: College graduate Bachelors or Masters with a GPA of at least 3.0 at graduationAbility to work effectively and relate well with individuals of diverse backgrounds and within all levels of the companyProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word PowerPoint Excel)Customer service orientedExcellent executive presenceAbility to work long hours weekends and holidaysADDITIONAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS:Degree in CS MIS CIS or related field highly preferredAbility to work weekends and holidaysMust successfully complete a criminal and credit background checkSolid understanding of relational database design and querying concepts preferredExperience with R or Python programming languages preferredThe Atlanta National League Baseball Club LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
