Click for a complete list of Employee BenefitsUIC is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join our College of Dentistry, IT Administrative Team. This role is in support of IT/business process analysis services to the faculty, staff, residents, and students at the College. Selected candidate will work hand in hand with the IT Administrative and Helpdesk Team and complete the duties and responsibilities of the job.Duties & Responsibilities:Collaborate with key stakeholders, including business leaders, project managers, and technical teams, to understand business needs and translate them into actionable solution designs in TeamDynamix and other similar service management platformsConduct a comprehensive analysis of business processes, systems, and data to identify gaps, opportunities for improvement, and areas of optimization to create TeamDynamix - iPaas Forms replacing Qualtrics, SharePoint, and webpage forms.Define, develop and implement key performance indicators (KPI's) and setup metrics gathering in relation to IT infrastructure and operations (I&O) to inform and influence business decisions.Work closely with the IT technical and project management teams to ensure the configuration and delivery of solutions per the defined architecture.Create reports and visualization charts in Tableau, Power BI and/or Excel to communicate findings to stakeholders from identified patterns and trends in datasets.Assist with Helpdesk operations by responding to IT support requests related to hardware, software, networking and/or audio/visual equipment and other peripherals and technology equipment.Responsible for IT asset management and hardware lifecycle of client endpoints; supervise proper disposal of surplus computer and related IT equipment, properly tagging items, coordinating disposal, and removing items from inventory.Assist in the training and supervision of graduate assistants (student workers) assigned to Helpdesk operations.Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.Minimum Qualifications Required:Bachelor Degree within Computer Science or closely related field of study. Minimum of one (1) year professional level IT experience within BI Data Analytics & Integration which includes demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, and supporting application interfaces, as well as developing, modifying, distributing, and testing reports, metrics, dashboards, and self-service reporting capabilities in the business intelligence suite of tools and applications.Preferred Qualifications:Professional work experience on customer-service related fieldExhibit ability to interact comfortably, tactfully, and effectively with internal and external constituencies.Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-based organization.To Apply: For fullest consideration click on the Apply Now button, please fully complete all sections of the onlineapplication including adding your full work history with specific details ofyour duties & responsibilities for each position held.
