The role brings expertise for estimating the projects by interpreting complex information and participating in client business review sessions to influence decisions regarding the use of technology to support objectives. The Senior Consultant Business Systems Analysis develops recommends and facilitates activities required for the application of new technologies to support existing processes and client needs. The role provides expertise to project managers coordinators and directors on technology functionality and utilization utilizing a solid understanding of business dynamics. The role independently resolves a variety of ambiguous challenges with organization-wide impacts devising new methods using strong analytic and inductive thinking.At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role youll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where youll spend 2-3 days per week on-site while other days may be remote.How youll succeedUnderstanding and Documenting Requirements - Work closely with the PMO and business partners in estimating the efforts with strong Commercial Banking and Payments technology domain knowledge. Partner with various stakeholders to gather complex business requirements and facilitate solution design discussions to ensure you meet project needs. Build strong relationships lead discussions listen and ask the right questions to ensure solutions meet requirements.Solution Design - Build client-focused solutions that meet business requirements. Prepare and validate solution design documents around areas such as scope clarification solution requirements and quality assurance.Leading and Mentoring Support end-to-end project implementation as a subject matter expert and provide guidance to a diverse team of technology and project professionals. Maintain a collaborative work environment and support team members to resolve organizational operational and process problems.Who you areYou can demonstrate experience with: strong experience in a Business Systems Analyst or in a Business Systems Consultant role leading projects and designing solutions. With the ability to elicit requirements and write strong documentation.Strong Commercial Banking and Payments technology domain knowledge with FIS IBS Core Banking platformExperience and expertise in designing/implementing Deposit Account Opening Platforms for Commercial banking clientsUnderstanding of Treasury Management Onboarding processes and systems engineering to enhance the overall client onboarding and servicing experienceExcellent abilities to manage stakeholders and having strong communication skills is a must. You have strong abilities around analyzing and understanding data as well as gap analysis expertise.You are proficient with Excel pivot tables Visio and other Microsoft office applications. You have strong problem solving skills stakeholder management abilities and exceptional organizational skills.Its an asset if you have experience with Confluence/Jira experience while working in an Agile environment.You put our clients first. This role has an expected salary range of $140000.00 - $160000.00 for the Chicago market based on experience qualifications and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business units incentive compensation plan which may also include a discretionary bonus component.
