As a Butcher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of meat products for our customers. You will be expected to use your expertise in meat cutting, food safety, sanitation, and food quality to provide exceptional service to our customers. Your role will be crucial in maintaining our reputation as a trusted and reliable source for meat products.Minimum Qualifications:Proven experience as a Butcher, with a deep understanding of meat cutting techniques and food safety regulationsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and qualityStrong communication and customer service skillsAbility to lift and carry heavy objects, stand for extended periods of time, and work in a refrigerated environmentPreferred Qualifications:Certification in Meat Cutting or related fieldExperience in food production and balancing inventory levelsResponsibilities:Cut, trim, and prepare various cuts of meat according to customer requests and specificationsEnsure all meat products are properly stored, labeled, and rotated to maintain freshness and qualityMaintain a clean and organized work area, following all sanitation and safety guidelinesCollaborate with the Head Chef to develop new meat products and recipesInterpret instructions and follow recipes to ensure consistent quality and taste of meat productsSkills:As a Butcher, you will utilize your expertise in meat cutting, food safety, sanitation, and food quality on a daily basis. You will work closely with the Head Chef to develop new meat products and recipes, and collaborate with other team members to ensure consistent quality and taste of our meat products. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential in providing exceptional service to our customers. Additionally, you will need to be able to lift and carry heavy objects, stand for extended periods of time, and work in a refrigerated environment.
