As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for operating the meat department to the high standards set forth by the company. You will prepare standard cuts of meat, Grind Burger, Sausages and Fish as specified in-store guidelines and follow the stores meat merchandising plan. The Meat Cutters goal is to drive sales within the meat department and maximize profitability.ResponsibilitiesCut and trim meat using knives and power equipmentSlice cold cuts and cheese and wait on customersPackage and display Meat and Fish in an attractive mannerReceive and inspect meat/ fish as it arrives to the storeEnsure the cold chain is unbroken and meat remains high qualityFollow high standards of sanitation and quality controlQualificationsMust be 18 years of ageHigh school diploma/GED requiredExperience using meat cutting equipment, power equipment, and hand toolsAbility to stand for long periods and regularly lift 30lbs
