JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title
The Buyer is responsible for purchasing materials, components, equipment, and services required to support manufacturing operations. This individual will work closely with Production, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to ensure materials are delivered on time, at the required quality standards, and at the most competitive cost.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of purchasing or procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience managing purchase orders, supplier relationships, and inventory requirements.
- Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
- Aerospace, defense, robotics, automotive, or advanced manufacturing experience.
- Experience purchasing fabricated metal components, machinery, tooling, or production materials.
- ERP experience with Epicor, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar systems.
- APICS/CPIM certification preferred.
- Understanding of Bills of Material (BOMs) and manufacturing workflows.

This is a Contract position based out of Los Angeles, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $43.00/hr.
