Negotiate pricing terms and delivery schedules with vendors. Generate and manage purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery. Monitor supplier performance quality and adherence to contracts. Collaborate with production and planning to optimize inventory levels. Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities without compromising quality. Resolve issues related to supplier performance quality discrepancies or delivery delays. Recommended Qualifications 2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement preferably within a manufacturing setting. Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle Microsoft Dynamics) for purchasing and inventory management. Demonstrated strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills. Ability to read and interpret technical specifications blueprints or engineering drawings. Solid understanding of supply chain principles and inventory control practices.
