Key Responsibilities Negotiate pricing terms and contracts with suppliers. Source and evaluate new suppliers to meet production requirements. Issue purchase orders and manage delivery schedules for production materials. Monitor and evaluate supplier performance for quality delivery and cost. Collaborate with engineering and production to define material specifications. Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities within the supply chain. Resolve supply chain issues including delays quality discrepancies and invoice errors. Recommended Qualifications Proven experience in procurement or buying within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) for purchasing and inventory management. Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills. Ability to interpret technical specifications blueprints and Bills of Material (BOMs). Excellent analytical skills with a focus on cost reduction and supply chain efficiency.
