Emseal A Sika Company is a manufacturer of premium sealants and expansion joint systems for the commercial construction industry and many specialty market applications.The Buyer is responsible for reliable and prompt product procurement of both semi-finished and raw materials into our Westborough facility. This position will manage the flow of stock place purchase orders as well as maintain effective communication of inventory between operations and our sales team.  This position also participates in inventory management through monthly cycle counts.  This position reports to the Plant Manager.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Monitor material and parts demand identifying trendsPopulate schedule with vendor ship datesVendor Relations; place purchase orders cost negotiations and update delivery statusEnter and manage orders for certain Semi-Finished itemsAssist in monthly cycle counts and inventory managementMinimize obsolete and aged inventoryManage shortage reports and respond accordingly using ERP softwareDetermine re-order points and minimum stock levels from historical demand order trends and product maturityOffer creative improvements to material flow and Supply Chain managementMaintain open and direct communication with Operations and Sales Team to ensure complete understanding of product availability and delivery statusAnnual Salary Range: $70000-$90000 based on education experience and qualifications of the applicant. Qualifications : Bachelors Degree or equivalent experienceFive (5) years of procurement experienceExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Strong organizational and effective time management skillsAbility to present information and respond to questions from all levels of the organizationProficient in Microsoft OfficeExcellent problem-solving abilitiesAdditional Information : 401k with Generous Company Match BonusesMedical Dental and Vision BenefitsPaid Parental LeaveLife InsuranceDisability InsurancePaid time off paid holidaysFloating holidays Paid Volunteer TimeWellness/Fitness ReimbursementsEducation AssistanceProfessional Development OpportunitiesEmployee Referral Program & More!Sika Corporation is committed to a work environment that supports inspires and respects all individuals that apply.
