Position Overview
Palo Verde Pain Specialists is seeking an experienced C-Arm Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) for coverage one to two days a week, supporting in office pain management procedures.
This role focuses on operating fluoroscopic C-arm imaging during interventional procedures, assisting physicians with accurate imaging for injections and minimally invasive spine treatments.
This position is best suited for Radiologic Technologists experienced in fluoroscopy, surgical imaging, or interventional pain management environments.
Responsibilities
- Operate C arm fluoroscopy equipment during interventional pain management procedures
- Provide imaging support for spine injections, nerve blocks, and minimally invasive procedures
- Ensure proper patient positioning and radiation safety protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and procedural staff to obtain optimal imaging
- Maintain compliance with radiation safety standards and clinical protocols
- Cleans and maintains lead
- Ensures all staff or visitors in room have proper lead and attire
- Prepare and maintain imaging equipment before and after procedures
- Document imaging procedures and maintain records as required
- Assist procedural team to ensure efficient patient flow during procedure days
Qualifications
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification
- Active Arizona Radiologic Technologist License
- Experience operating C arm fluoroscopy equipment
- Knowledge of radiation safety protocols
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to move or lift patients
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
Preferred
- Experience in pain management, orthopedic, or spine procedure settings is preferred, but not necessary
- Experience supporting interventional procedures or surgical imaging
