What We OfferThe CA Process Engineer II provides process technology engineering and operational support tomonitor maintain and improve unit operationstogain efficiency improvements reduce cost improve sustainability provide stableoperationsand maximize profitability.Major ResponsibilitiesMonitor day to day unit operation lead and support process troubleshooting efforts and coordinate the resolution of technical process related issues.Coordinate and support the continuous development oftheprocesstechnology and the optimization of the process.Responsible for continuous improvement efforts andcostssavings(yield/quality improvements waste reduction throughput energysavings defecteliminationand other related activities.)Provide technical support to unit HAZOPs assessments audits incident reviews etc. and ensuring the safety concept of the unit ismaintained/improved.Serves as process expert and plant representative for designconstructionand implementation of investment projects interfacing with technical professionals from other disciplines (e.g.PCT project engineering environmental and utility services operations and process development)Createsmaintains and develops standards for plant operating documentation (e.g.standard operating procedures process descriptions material and energy balances P&IDs and operating data collection and retrieval)Compiles formats andsubmitsenvironmental data necessary fortimelyandaccuratefiling with local state and federal regulatory agenciesProvide process technology and operational related training materials from procedures lessons learned and support training in the unit.What You OfferBasic QualificationsBachelorsdegree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related degree withat least1 yearofexperience ORMastersdegree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related degreeThe eligibility to apply for and obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) within a reasonabletimeframePreferred QualificationsBroad knowledge of rotating and static equipment through experience experttrainingand self-studySix Sigma Green Belt Trained is strongly preferredKnowledge & Skills:High levelof organizational and process management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills and ability to interact across all levels of the organizationExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills ability to apply rigorous logicAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities.#LI-AD1YOUR APPLICATIONAre you as curious courageous and colorful as we are If so we can offer you an exciting career opportunity.
