Job DescriptionJob DescriptionBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceOpportunity for advancementPaid time offTraining & developmentPosition SummaryThe General Production Floor Employee supports the production of custom cabinetry and millwork by performing a variety of fabrication, assembly, and finishing tasks. This role works closely with carpenters, machine operators, and supervisors to ensure projects are completed accurately, efficiently, and to high quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesShop Production & AssemblyAssist in the fabrication and assembly of custom cabinets and millwork componentsOperate basic woodworking equipment (saws, sanders, drills, routers, clamps, etc.)Measure, cut, and prepare materials to specificationAssist with cabinet carcass assembly, fitting doors/drawers, and hardware installationSand, prep, and finish components as directedMaterial HandlingLoad/unload materials, deliver stock to workstationsOrganize, label, and prepare parts and subassembliesMaintain clean and safe workspace, follow 5S/lean principles when applicableQuality & AccuracyInspect parts for defects or inaccuraciesRead and follow shop drawings, cut lists, and work ordersReport issues or discrepancies to supervisor or lead craftsmanSafety & Shop MaintenanceFollow all shop safety procedures and PPE requirementsAssist in daily cleanup, equipment checks, and general shop organizationSupport preventative maintenance efforts when assignedQualificationsExperience1+ year experience in carpentry, cabinet fabrication, woodshop, or related trade preferred (willing to train motivated candidates)SkillsBasic understanding of woodworking tools and equipmentAbility to read a tape measure and perform basic mathStrong attention to detail and craftsmanship mindsetAbility to follow work instructions and collaborate in a team settingPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift 50+ lbsAbility to stand, bend, and move throughout shop for extended periodsComfortable operating and being near machinery and hand toolsPersonal AttributesStrong work ethic and reliabilityEager to learn and grow in the woodworking tradePositive attitude and ability to work in a team environmentTakes pride in producing quality craftsmanshipWork Schedule & EnvironmentFull-time, on-site role in a custom cabinet manufacturing shopStandard shop hours (may require overtime based on project timelines)Production environment with sawdust, machinery noise, and physical activityGrowth & DevelopmentOpportunities to learn and advance into:CNC OperatorCabinet Maker/AssemblerFinisherShop Lead / Production Supervisor
