We design, build, launch, and operate the world's largest constellation of satellites, enabling us to operate a global internet network unbounded by traditional ground infrastructure limitations. With millions of daily users worldwide already online, Starlink is truly a game-changer and levels the playing field for those who were previously unconnected.RESPONSIBILITIES:Create custom device layouts in Cadence’s AWR, balancing the needs of filter design and fabrication engineers to fit competitive designs into small footprints with aggressive design rulesManage design rules for multiple BAW processes, proposing changes as needed to meet challenging new developmentsTroubleshoot and update new automation tools to maintain design integrity while maximizing layout efficiencyLayout experimental designs with device team for new process developmentCreate and verify manufacturing test maps and plansBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree in STEM discipline2+ years of experience with CAD layoutPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Proficiency in Cadence or similar CAD toolDemonstrated understanding of computers and programming languages (preferred Python)Understanding of semiconductor processes and structures, like BAW filters, capacitors, resistors etc. Experience in using LVS/DRC tools to make layout updatesADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed to meet critical milestonesITAR REQUIREMENTS:To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
