CADD TECHNICIAN/ENGINEERING Job Title: Engineering CADD Technician Company: Craig A. Smith & Associates LLC Location: Deerfield Beach FL Job Type: Full-Time Pay: $25.00 $30.00 per hour (based on experience)About Us:Craig A. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Engineering CADD Technician to join our team in our Deerfield Beach office.Position Overview: The Engineering CADD Technician will assist project engineers by preparing construction drawings and plans for civil infrastructure projects including water sewer drainage roadway and site development. The role requires a strong command of AutoCAD Civil 3D a solid understanding of engineering design principles and the ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet project deadlines.Key Responsibilities: Produce construction drawings plan sets and technical details for civil engineering projects Prepare utility grading and drainage plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D Interpret and apply engineering markups and redlines Assist in compiling drawing sets and supporting documentation for permitting and construction Coordinate with engineers and project managers to ensure drawings are consistent with project requirements Maintain organized digital file structures and follow company CAD standards Ensure accuracy and quality of work while meeting schedules and deadlinesQualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil engineering drafting Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D (latest version required) Familiarity with civil engineering infrastructure such as water sewer stormwater and roadway systems Ability to read and understand engineering plans and specifications Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong verbal and written communication skillsBenefits: Paid Time Off (PTO) and Paid Holidays Health Dental Vision Life and Disability Insurance 401(k) Retirement Plan Performance-Based Bonus Opportunities Company vehicle or mileage reimbursement for applicable site work Supportive collaborative team environmentAdditional Information:Craig A.
