Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAre we the road to your future?We are currently searching for an experienced CADD Technician to support our West Gulf region located in Shreveport, LA. What you’ll be doing:Utilize a CAD workstation to prepare engineering drawings, utilizing theoretical and practical knowledge to aid in the plan preparation for civil design projectsProvide assistance to engineers using MicroStation/Autocad Civil 3D to create roadway plan sets and perform minor design work on roadway projectsProvide assistance to engineers using Autocad Civil 3D to create site plan sets and perform minor design work on site development and utility projectsPrepare minor mathematical calculations and quantity calculations for roadway/bridge projectsCoordinates assignments with project team and supervisorPerform other duties as assigned by supervisorBe a team player and assist other groups as neededWhat you need to have:Degree in Computer Aided Drafting or similar field is a plusExperience will be evaluated if applicant has a degree in Computer Aided Drafting or similar fieldExperience in MicroStation, AutoCAD, InDesign is preferredAbility to pass a pre-employment drug screening to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
