You will get to experience what the great outdoors of Western North Carolina and South Carolina have to offer.YMCA Camp Greenville is seeking a cause-driven leader to fulfill the role of Health Hut Coordinator for the summer. The Health Care Coordinator oversees procedures and protocols pertaining to the operations of the camper and staff health needs at the campus Health Center; coordinates the health care management at Camp assists nurses and paramedics/EMTs maintains and manages health and cleanliness standards and procedures.We are welcoming: we are open to all. We are a place where you can belong and become.We are genuine: we value you and embrace your individuality.We are hopeful: we believe in you and your potential to become a catalyst in the world.We are nurturing: we support you in your journey to develop your full potential.We are determined: above all else we are on a relentless quest to make our community stronger beginning with you.Our mission and core values are brought to life by our the Y we strive to live our cause of strengthening communities with purpose and intentionality every day.ResponsibilitiesServe as the liaison between camp administration the camp nurse manager and the volunteer Health Care Team (nurses and EMTs).Assist with coordinating medication administration (dispensing of medication not allowed) paperwork and forms.Collaborating for efficient processes and clear communication among all.Ability to work with participants of all backgrounds.Serve as a role model upholding our camp values and working with integrity creativity and safety in mind always.Responsible for the health and well-being of the campers mentally emotionally and physically during their time at campMust approach responsibilities in a fun creative enthusiastic and professional manner.Other ResponsibilitiesAdhere to policies related to boundaries with consumersAttend/complete required abuse risk management trainingAdhere to procedures related to managing high-risk activities and supervising consumersFollow mandated reporting requirementsAdhere to job specific abuse risk management responsibilitiesQualificationsMust be 20 years old by June 2026.Ability to passMotorVehicle Report (MVR).Must be CPR/First aid certified or able to obtain by June 2026.Preferred:Student in nursing or health care related field.Required Experience:IC Key Skills EMR Systems,Employee Relations,Typing,Patient Care,Clerical Experience,HIPAA,Computer Skills,EMT Experience,Medical Terminology,Transcription,Epic,Phone Etiquette Employment Type : Temp Experience: years Vacancy: 1
