Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Buffalo Grove Fitness Center is looking for an experienced Certified Personal Trainer.  This person must be confident, personable, and willing to work with all ages, injuries, and special needs in the areas of post rehabilitation. Job Functions: 1.  Develops exercise prescriptions and programs based on member's health and fitness needs and desires, specifying fitness equipment and routines. 2.  Establish and maintain accurate, current documentation records for each member that results in increased compliance to fitness programs and increased member retention objectives.3.  Provide fitness supervision.  Provide exercise instruction and explain and demonstrate the use of fitness apparatus and equipment.  Offers oral instruction on fitness techniques and recommends corrective adjustments.  Observes member engaged in fitness activities to ensure safety rules and regulations are adhered to.4.  Develop meaningful member contacts while monitoring the fitness floor, to help members achieve their health and fitness goals.5.  Prospect clients outside the Fitness Center to help develop a client base.Qualifications: 1.  The level of knowledge normally acquired with the completion of a Bachelor Degree in Exercise Science or related work experience. 2.  Current personal training certification from an accredited organization is required. 3.  Maintain current CPR, and AED training certification. Hours: VariesWage: $18.50 - $40.50, depending on experience and client load. BenefitsFree Fitness Center pass for employees who work 8 hours or more per week, along with other discounts towards Park District programs. Powered by JazzHRv7i1OMZ4Un
