You will get to experience what the great outdoors of Western North Carolina and South Carolina have to offer.YMCA Camp Greenville is seeking a cause-driven leader to join our staff as our Campout & Logistics Coordinator. This individual will coordinate the logistical and programmatic needs for our campout program. They will ensure the safety of all our campout sites that all materials needed for camping out are delivered and that adventure trips are packed properly. Under the support of the Adventure Division Leader this role has the goal of creating a safe fun magical and educational experience during our campout/adventure activities.We are welcoming: we are open to all. We are a place where you can belong and become.We are genuine: we value you and embrace your individuality.We are hopeful: we believe in you and your potential to become a catalyst in the world.We are nurturing: we support you in your journey to develop your full potential.We are determined: above all else we are on a relentless quest to make our community stronger beginning with you.Our mission and core values are brought to life by our the Y we strive to live our cause of strengthening communities with purpose and intentionality every day.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for managing all campout materials including cookware utensils camp stoves and fuel.Maintain logs for gear being used by camp staffDelivering food/supplies to campout sites during useWorking with Adventure Division leader on maintaining food ordering and inventoryAssist camp staff at campout sites with building fires cooking food and program activities.Ability to work with participants of all backgrounds.Create a magical experience for all campers/guest in program area.Support cabin leader staff when not in program area and fill in for cabin leaders at times.Serve as a role model upholding our camp values and working with integrity creativity and safety in mind always.Responsible for the health and well-being of the campers mentally emotionally and physically during their time at campMust approach responsibilities in a fun creative enthusiastic and professional manner.Other Responsibilities:Adhere to policies related to boundaries with consumersAttend/complete required abuse risk management trainingAdhere to procedures related to managing high-risk activities and supervising consumersFollow mandated reporting requirementsAdhere to job specific abuse risk management responsibilitiesQualificationsCPR/First Aid Certified or willing to obtain by June 2026.Willingness to work on a team in the support of the mission of camp.Ability to work with campers/guests of all backgrounds.At least age 20 by June 2026.Preferred: Skills/knowledge of outdoor campingRequired Experience:IC Key Skills Shipping & Receiving,Inventory Control,Data Entry,AS400,Transportation Management Systems,EDI,Microsoft Outlook,Warehouse Experience,Office Experience,Dispatching,Microsoft Excel,Logistics Employment Type : Temp Experience: years Vacancy: 1
