Spring Creek Parkway Plano Texas 75074We are searching for candidates that meet the required qualifications and experience and are able to perform the essential duties and responsibilities.Job Summary:The Campus Provost provides vision leadership and oversight for academic programmingstudent enrollment and success workforce and continuing education initiatives facilities andsafety community partnerships budget development staff/faculty leadership and alignment tothe districts mission and strategic plan.This results-oriented leader ensures a welcoming student-centered environment; fostersacademic excellence and innovation; and cultivates high-performing faculty-friendly teams. Theprovost works extensively through influencecoordinating with Student and EnrollmentServices facilities police housing Communications and other centrally reporting unitstoensure seamless service and a strong sense of campus community.While the Plano and Wylie campuses are both integral parts of Collin College each has a distinctidentity: Plano is a large mature campus with long-serving faculty on-campus housing athleticsand a deep history in the district. Wylie is a newer rapidly growing campus with significantfacilities expansion underway including a major CTE (Career and Technical Education) buildingand new program development. Provosts are expected to be a highly visible leaders on theircampuses building trust supporting faculty honoring campus culture and ensuring a cohesivesense of community aligned with district expectations.Required Qualifications:Key ResponsibilitiesCommunication Collaboration & CultureServe as the primary communication link between the Executive Leadership Team and their assigned campus ensuring messaging is clear consistent and aligned across Academic Affairs Student and Enrollment Services and operationsBuild strong collaborative relationships with deans Student and Enrollment Services HR Facilities Police IT and other essential units to bridge dotted-line structures.Foster a solution-oriented students firstno excuses environment that supports faculty celebrates staff and emphasizes teamworkCultivate faculty trust by being present approachable transparent and responsive to feedbackFacilities Safety & Events Provide direct oversight of campus facilities and grounds including daily walkthroughs to ensure safety accessibility and aesthetic excellenceOversee campus events conference center use and community rentals; ensure compliance with policies guidelines for voting locations and student expressionPartner with Safety and Emergency Management and campus police to coordinate emergency preparedness and act as the campus incident lead during crisesCoordinate closely with Facilities staff on renovations new construction and transitions to new buildings and projectsAcademic Student and Community Leadership Support faculty where faculty are empowered with strong resources development opportunities and collaborative partnershipsWork with deans to anticipate growth and plan staffing and schedulingcritical at both Plano (high volume) and Wylie (rapid expansion)Engage with employers chambers ISDs (Independent School Districts) and economic development partners to understand workforce needs and connect faculty to industry conversations relevant to their campusRepresent the campus in community forums and ensure campus initiatives align with district prioritiesRepresent the campus in city chamber ISD and community forums where participation aligns with program development dual credit and/or strategic community partnershipsStrategic & Executive LeadershipServe as a member of the Presidents Executive Leadership Team in shaping and executing collegewide strategic and master plansAdvance a cohesive values-driven campus culture that embraces student success accountability service excellence collaboration creativity innovation and equityPromote operational consistency across campuses by working closely with fellow provosts vice presidents and deansAcademic & Student Success LeadershipProvide leadership for academic programs across academic transfer workforce and continuing educationGuide program planning evaluation scheduling and expansion to meet workforce needs community demands and enrollment goalsSupport integrated pathways dual credit operations and districtwide scheduling in partnership with academic and student affairs leadersCampus Operations & Culture Oversee day-to-day campus operations including Student and Enrollment Services library operations information center technology Facilities Campus Police and emergency preparednessFoster a safe welcoming and comprehensive learning environmentLead campus signature events community events and designated political or governmental activitiesPeople LeadershipProvide supervision coaching mentoring and performance management for deans associate deans directors and assigned leadershipOffer structured feedback for campus operations roles including facilities technology and police leadershipCultivate strong internal relationships and collaborative practices across divisionsFinance & Resource StewardshipDevelop recommend and manage campus budgets aligned to strategic and operational prioritiesOversee technology planning facilities operations renewal and replacement construction and campus project management in partnership with appropriate vice presidentsCommunity Engagement & PartnershipsBuild alliances with business economic development K12 partners higher education institutions governmental entities and community organizationsAdvance the visibility and reputation of the assigned campus(es) and Collin College as a wholeCollaborates with the Senior Vice President of Student and Community Engagement to develop and implement marketing strategies that promote campus programs facilities and signature initiativesCompliance & AccreditationEnsure adherence to institutional policies SACSCOC (Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges) standards state and federal requirements and program-level accreditation requirementsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Earned doctoral degree from a regionally accredited institution Ten (10) years of progressively responsible higher education executive administrative experience Teaching experience at the college level Demonstrated experience leading complex academic or student services operations Experience in supervising senior leaders (deans/directors) and managing cross-functional teams Experience in developing and managing budgets in a large multifaceted institution. Demonstrated commitment to student success academic excellence and equitable outcomesPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS Experience in a multicampus/complex college system Experience leading community engagement workforce partnerships and/or dual credit initiatives Demonstrated success in implementing institution-wide initiatives across multiple divisions Experience with facilities planning emergency management and campus operations. Experience navigating regional or specialized accreditation processes Evidence of collaborative leadership with faculty staff and external partners Strong record of building campus culture and developing leaders Collaborative spirit and the ability to build consensus Strategic innovative and forward-thinking decision-making students first no excuses High emotional intelligence and relationship credibility Strong communication listening and problem-solving ability Integrity humility and a commitment to Collin Colleges core values Ability to thrive in a fast-growing dynamic and complex environment Ability to navigate ambiguous or evolving situationsPhysical Demands Working Conditions and Physical EffortSedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally a negligible amount of force frequently and/or constantly having to lift carry push pull or otherwise move objects including the human body.
