This role is ideal for a highly organized collaborative professional who thrives in a fast-paced federal contracting environment and is passionate about winning new business. The successful candidate will serve as the connective tissue between business development capture and proposal operations ensuring seamless execution and alignment with RSC2s growth objectives.RequirementsLead pre-RFP capture activities including opportunity qualification customer engagement planning and competitive analysis.Develop and maintain capture plans win strategies and teaming approachesCollaborate with BD technical SMEs and leadership to shape opportunities and position RSC2 for successSupport bid/no-bid decisions with data-driven insights and risk assessmentsTransition into proposal leadership upon RFP release managing all aspects of proposal developmentCreate and manage proposal schedules outlines compliance matrices and kickoff materialsFacilitate color team reviews daily standups and writing assignmentsEnsure proposals are compliant compelling and aligned with capture strategy and win themesCoordinate with graphics editing and production teams to deliver polished final submissionsSupport post-submission activities including clarifications ENs and debriefsConduct lessons learned and contribute to the refinement of RSC2s proposal processes and toolsQUALIFICATIONS:Bachelors degree in Business Communications English Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).5 years of experience in project proposal managementProven experience leading cross-functional teams through complex federal or DoD project or proposal effortsDemonstrated ability to manage multiple high-volume deadline-driven projects with precision and transparency.Strong background in project management including planning scheduling and risk mitigationExperience working in or with military or defense environments is highly valuedDeep understanding of compliance requirements proposal structure and government evaluation criteriaExceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality compliant deliverablesComfortable navigating ambiguity and adapting to evolving requirements in a fast-paced environmentStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to foster collaboration across technical operational and executive stakeholdersPMP or APMP certification preferredWork Location: Tucson AZ (hybrid available)Employment Type: Full-time Salary-ExemptBenefits Package: We offer a top-tier benefits package which includes medical dental vision PTO employer matching retirement plan and more!We are an equal opportunity employer. The projected compensation range for this position is $55000 to $120000 (annualized USD).
