Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSouthern Shine Car Wash, a family-owned business, is seeking to fill a manager in training position to assist with the day-to-day operations of our location in Travelers Rest, SC.Job Schedule:Our locations are open 7 days a week from 7:30am-7:30pm.Flexible schedules (weekends and holidays required)Pay:$16-$18/hourEssential Duties and Responsibilities:The manager in training, works under the supervision of senior managers to learn the various roles and duties of the car wash to prepare them to move into a management role. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:Working with managers and executives to learn about different job rolesAssisting senior managers with administrative tasks and other needsOverseeing staff members' day-to-day work, including delegating tasks and onboarding new hiresContributing to strategic planning and evaluating employee performanceFostering a positive and dynamic environment for other employeesResolving customer issuesEnforcing company policies and practicesGrow our Unlimited Wash Club program and to help retain membersMaintain the property and equipment to exceed industry standardsMonitor the chemical usage and all utilities for your location to maintain profitabilityCommunicate with your team regarding scheduling and responsibilitiesWork safely and report safety or maintenance issues to managementOther duties as assigned by management.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent;Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidaysPrevious supervisory experience in a customer service industry requiredProven leadership skills are a must.Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skillsBackground in customer service requiredExcellent team working, interpersonal, and communication skills requiredMechanical aptitude a plusSelf-motivated and goal-orientedPositive attitudePhysical Requirements:Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and seasons (heat of the summer, cold of the winter) as required for the role;Able to sit or stand for extended periods of time (up to 8+ hours);Physically able to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, reach, and step to perform job duties;Able to lift and carry up to 50lbs.If you are interested in joining this fast growing company, please apply today!Job Type: Full-timePay: $16-$18 per hourBenefits:Opportunities for advancementSchedule:10 hour shiftEvery weekendHolidaysMonday to FridayWork Location: In personPowered by JazzHRxaq2Iz5MYV
