One CaliforniaJob Summary and ResponsibilitiesAs a Cardiac Sonographer you will be a pivotal member of our cardiac team performing crucial diagnostic testing to accurately diagnose and guide the treatment of patients with a wide range of cardiovascular conditions.Every day you will apply your independent judgment and advanced technical skills to perform state-of-the-art imaging procedures for patients presenting with conditions such as heart failure heart rhythm disorders and acute myocardial infarction supporting decisions from minimally invasive interventions to major structural repairs.To be successful in this role you must possess a solid understanding of echocardiography imaging equipment master proper patient positioning techniques and expertly produce and analyze high-quality cardiac ultrasound images. Above all you will continuously strive to deliver an exceptional and positive experience to our patients and their caregiversPerforms diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound pro-cedures in accordance with department standards and in keeping with the orders of the referring physicianOperates all ultrasound equipment computers and accessoriesDemonstrates competency in film-processing proceduresIdentifies and initiates accurate assessment of life-threatening conditions.Troubleshoots equipment and cooperates with service personnel in order to maintain minimal down time. Initiates service calls on all equipment assigned to the areaCharges exams and supplies on a daily basis when work is completed. Maintains and updates the patient log on a daily basis.Job RequirementsThree (3) years experience performing Ultrasound procedures in an outpatient facility if not RDMSRegistered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer upon hire orRegistered Cardiac Sonographer CCI upon hire orRegistered Vascular Technologist upon hire orRegistered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer upon hire Key Skills Aseptic Technique,Hospital Experience,Anatomy Knowledge,Basic Life Support,Computer Skills,Physiology Knowledge,Sonography,Pediatrics Experience,Medical Imaging,Catheterization,Epic,Patient Service Experience Employment Type : Unclear Experience: years Vacancy: 1
