Job Description Cardiac Electrophysiologist (EP/Device Focus)Location: Baylor Scott & White Medical Center Temple, TXStart Date: December 1, 2025Duration: Up to 6 months (with possible extensions) Position Overview We are seeking a Board-Certified Cardiac Electrophysiologist with EP/Pacemaker and device experience to join the team in Temple, TX. This locums opportunity involves a mix of inpatient and outpatient coverage, working alongside a well-established team of 5 MDs and 5 APPs. Schedule & Call Coverage: 3 4 weeks per monthShifts: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PMWeekend Call: Required (rotating)Overtime: Possible on assigned lab days due to add-onsPractice Setting: Inpatient + OutpatientEMR: Epic Requirements BC in Electrophysiology (device experience required)Active TX license (preferred) or IMLC acceptedDEA requiredMust meet full eligibility verification (no restrictions, clean background, no disciplinary actions, etc.)Immunization compliance + drug screen required Credentialing Timeline: 135 days (must complete full board approval with both hospital + medical group)Temporary Privileges: May be considered only after committee review for urgent patient needs
