Job Description

Requirements:

  1. MD candidates preferred.
  2. Internal Medicine residency completion required from an accredited ACGME program.
  3. Cardiology fellowship completion required from an accredited ACGME program.
  4. Additional fellowship completion in electrophysiology required from an accredited program.
  5. Board certified or board eligible in Cardiology and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
  6. Active Texas license.
  7. Laser lead extraction preferred.
  8. Seeking someone who can start as soon as possible (allowing for 120 days for credentialing). New fellowship grads or experienced candidates are welcome to apply.

  Position Details:

  1. Employed position with Texas Health Heart & Vascular Specialists, a member of Texas Health Physicians Group (THPG), including attractive compensation and benefits package.
  2. Join 2 established EPs as part of a large group of 12 physicians located on the campus of Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas – a Level 1 Trauma Center with a comprehensive stroke center. This group also has 7 physicians in Plano and Allen and operates a location in Rockwall.
  3. Share in general cardiology call, but weekend call is a very reasonable every 12th weekend at Texas Health Dallas and 2-3 times per year at Texas Health Rockwall.
  4. Full-time position that is 100% EP practice – with the support of three excellent EP-experienced APPs.
  5. Latest ablation/mapping equipment including CARTO, NavX, Cryo, Pulse select, and Affera PFA systems.
  6. Clinical research opportunities available for interested providers.
