Specialty Care Medical Director The Villages Health is seeking a Specialty Care Medical Director to lead our Specialty Care Centers, ensuring the highest standards of medical care and advancing our commitment to patient-centered excellence. As the Specialty Care Medical Director, you will provide clinical leadership, guide strategic direction, and foster collaboration across primary and specialty care. This role combines hands-on patient care with leadership responsibilities to drive quality, efficiency, and innovation. Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor clinicians within Specialty Care Centers.Develop and implement clinical protocols and quality improvement initiatives.Facilitate collaboration between primary and specialty care for value-based outcomes.Conduct performance evaluations and regular team meetings.Provide direct patient care approximately 2 days per week.Oversee compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.Participate in budgeting and financial planning.Represent the clinic in community outreach and engagement. Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited institution.Board-certified in Cardiology.Licensed to practice in Florida.Minimum 5 years of clinical experience, with leadership preferred.Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Experience in healthcare administration and financial management.
