Please ask about our generous referral fees!Locum job openingASAP-ongoingSeeking a board certified or truly board eligible cardiologistPrimarily looking for hospital coverage and reading/imaging coverage such as stress testing, EKGs, monitors, echos, nuclear, cardiac mri, etc.Inpatient rounding, consults, reading images, TEEs, proctoring stress tests (occasionally), etc. Will have a PA-C with them in the AM to assist most daysShifts are 8am-5pm in hospital and 5pm to 8am CallProvider would start at 8a to cover the hospital serviceThere will be an NP and PA also helping with coverageWould need to do consults, periop TEEs, cardioversions, follow up consults, and answer questions other providers would haveDocumentation of the consults and TEE/cardioversion would need to be done timelyClinic 8a-5p then 5p-8a off-site callMay occasionally cover call and clinic during the day only, 8a-5p on FridaysYou'd be on call for the entire weekend when you're working at the facilityTypically doesn't require the doc to come in unless it's a stat TEE for a dissection. Rare for these but do occur from time to timeMost calls can be managed over the phone and triaged from hotelMust stay within 30 min of the hospital.
